In the lead up to this year's Wanderfal musical extravaganza, The Poly is presenting WanderFilm, a film celebration of musical culture in film.

The film festival has been scheduled for April 9-11 and April 16, in partnership with The Cornish Bank, the organisers of Wanderfal.

The film event is set to take place at The Poly, which will be screening a variety of music documentaries and iconic movies, inviting attendees to immerse themselves in music on the big screen.

The selected films promise a diverse range of both classic and contemporary music-oriented films, delivering an array of both independent and general releases.

With this range, whether you're a dedicated music fanatic or a cinema buff in search of an entertaining evening, WanderFilm has something to offer.

Both attendees of the Wanderfal Music Festival and members of The Poly also qualify for discounted tickets to the WanderFilm screenings.

A bonus feature following each WanderFilm screening allows festival-goers to avail themselves of a half-priced drink at The Cornish Bank with a Poly film ticket.

The festival programme includes 'Getting It Back: The Story of Cymande' at 5.45pm and 'One Love' at 8pm on April 9, followed by 'Angelheaded Hipster: The Songs of Marc Bolan & T. Rex' at 5.45pm and 'This Is Spinal Tap' at 8pm on April 10.

The festival continues on April 11 and 16 with 'On Resistance Street' and 'Free Party: A Folk History' respectively, both featuring Director Q&A sessions.

Both films will be showing at 7.30pm on their respective dates.

This film festival aims to stir passion, stimulate discussion, and encourage a deeper understanding and appreciation of the artistry that shapes the world of music.
