The Caravan and Motorhome Club is hosting its English National Surfing Championships in Cornwall, starting this weekend.

It also marks a decade of the club's partnership with Surfing England.

The championships will take place first at Fistral Beach from April 12 to April 14, and then at Watergate Bay from May 4 to May 6.

Surfing aficionados and those with a keen interest can enhance their experience by staying at one of the club's two local campsites, providing an affordable and convenient location to enjoy the spectacle.

These campsites offer hot showers and laundry areas for surfers, eliminating damp wetsuits and enhancing comfort for participants and spectators alike.

Treamble Valley Club Campsite is located in a picturesque 36-acre woodland park, perfect for families and wildlife enthusiasts.

Visitors can enjoy the stunning sea views and might be lucky enough to spot some local wildlife.

Both venues for the surfing championships are within a short drive of this campsite.

St Agnes Beacon Club Campsite, another option for tourers, boasts panoramic views of the stunning Cornish coastline.

It's a short walk away from the town of St Agnes and not far from the championship venues.

Head of communications and events for the Caravan and Motorhome Club, Brian Morgan, said: "It has been an amazing decade partnering with Surfing England and supporting the wonderful surfing community.

"Club members embrace the outdoor lifestyle and we operate the largest network of top-quality campsites, set in beautiful and scenic locations in the UK – many close by to some of the best surfing venues."

The competitive events span a wide range of divisions, including men's and women's opens, under 16s and 18s, alongside cross discipline such as longboard, SUP and bodyboard.

The club's team will be at the events to welcome competitors and spectators alike.

As spring gathers pace, the club encourages those planning getaways to consider their variety of campsites, filled with fresh sea air and cradled by nature, perfect for outdoor adventures.

Further benefits include free stays for children under five, free hot showers, free Wi-Fi, and no charge for electric hook-up and awnings.
