Over the late May Bank Holiday the Cornwall Street Food Festival is making a triumphant return to Barrowfields in Newquay.

The festival promises four days of great food, entertainment, and family fun from Friday, May 24 to Monday, May 27,with over 25 top street food traders presenting a myriad of global cuisines.

Organised by Street Food Warehouse, the event will showcase an assortment of dishes in the centre of Newquay.

The festival has soared in popularity over the past two years, expanding further with each revival.

The event coordinators have said: "Sharing some of the best street food from across the UK with locals and holidaymakers in such a stunning setting is a treat.

"The festival is a fantastic opportunity for visitors to sample new and exciting cuisines, tuck into their old favourites and help us provide a platform for up-and-coming talents on the food scene.

"The people of Cornwall proved they have a huge appetite for high-quality food and we’re happy to return for another four days of fun."

No two traders offer the same cuisine, allowing guests to explore dishes from across the globe, from Indian to Caribbean, Mexican to Afghan, and Thai to Uzbek.

Traders such as the 'Two Lads Kitchen' and 'Wok n Roll' return ready to captivate taste buds, while 'Fresh Crepes' from Falmouth fulfils dessert needs with their range of sweet delights.

The open-air event has been sponsored by the award-winning brewery, Lost and Grounded.
