The Falmouth Food Festival returns for the second year running.

It is set to run from May 24 to May 26, from 10am to 8pm.

Located at Church Street Car Park, it aims to provide a lively platform for various creatives and vendors to display their work on the waterfront.

The festival, which is organised by two local residents, is known for sourcing all its food traders, musicians, craft makers, artists and contractors from within a 30km radius.

This unique approach creates an authentically local atmosphere and garners strong community support.

It attracts both locals and visitors and aims to grow organically while maintaining local ties.

The three-day schedule features free entry and a variety of food traders.

These include Pysk - a local fishmonger, MY MUM MAKES - offering authentic Thai cuisine, and The Cornish Italian, who provides classic Italian dishes made with fresh Cornish produce.

Festivalgoers can also enjoy music performances from bands such as Zola Courtney, Kakafoni Groove Collective, and King Dinosaur.

Further entertainment includes chef demonstrations, a well-stocked bar and a tent packed with craftsmen.

This year, the festival has expanded the top car park, upgraded its facilities and stage equipment, extended its bar tent and added waterfront seating.

This means attendees can enjoy the festival throughout the day.

Event organiser, Barney Farnworth said: "Falmouth and Cornwall are overflowing with culinary talent, musical expertise, premium produce and remarkable creatives.

"The idea behind Falmouth Food Festival is to provide a platform for all of these things amongst a welcoming and entertaining environment.

"Harry and I had great feedback from last year, so expect more goodness this year!"
