A scenic beer garden in Falmouth which has undergone a huge revamp is set to host a garden party to celebrate.

The Chain Locker on Quay Street, owned by St Austell Brewery, is welcoming everyone, including local businesses, along to their garden party on May 23.

The popular harbourside beer garden on Custom House Quay overlooking the harbour has been freshly decorated with new seating, planters full of vibrant flowers and herbs as well as new seating and giant umbrellas, making it the perfect place to sit and enjoy the sea view with a drink and some food.

What’s more, the pub will be launching its new fish-themed summer menu from its quirky caravan in the beer garden, where tasters will be on offer at the party including crayfish tails, mackerel rillettes and a vegan feta and olive salad.

Live music from Falmouth based Toby Webb will kick off the garden party, and Tarquin’s will be offering out free samples of their new lemon sherbet vodka liqueur.
