The team at RGB Building Supplies in Porthleven have congratulated their colleague for completing the London Marathon in a remarkable time of three hours and four minutes.

Ross Atkinson’s performance at the London Marathon last month placed him in the top 9 per cent of the 50,000 participants who crossed the finish line, helping him raise £3,500 for RGB’s chosen charity Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).

Ross said he was ‘grateful’ for the support and encouragement from his friends, family, colleagues, and customers.

He said: “Training for the London Marathon has been an incredibly demanding yet rewarding experience.

“Crossing the finish line amidst the cheers of the crowd was very exhilarating.

"I’m extremely grateful for the overwhelming support and encouragement I received from my friends, family, RGB colleagues, and customers, who have helped me raise £3,500 for such a fantastic charity.”
