Two men have been arrested following the death of a woman in her 40s in Newquay.
Officers from Devon and Cornwall Police along with ambulance crews were called to a property in the Parkenbutts area of Newquay at approximately 11.30pm on Wednesday, May 22.
The woman, who was in her 40s was said to have suffered a cardiac arrest and was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.
Two men remain in police custody as part of the investigation.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “Police were called by the ambulance service to a property in the Parkenbutts area of Newquay at approximately 11.30pm on Wednesday 22 May following a report of a woman in her 40s in cardiac arrest.
“The woman was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.
“Police have arrested two men in their 40s in connection with the incident who currently remain in custody.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
