Drivers are being advised of temporary overnight road closures in Helston this week for ducting works for Wildanet.
From June 10 to 14, Wendron Street and Godolphin Road will be closed off from 11:30pm to 7am, weekdays only.
Wendron Street will be closed in its entirety, and Godolphin Road will be closed between Wendron Street and Station Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained for residents, and emergency access will be maintained at all times.
Cornwall Council announced that the closures are necessary for ducting works and will be in effect from 11:30pm to 7am, weekdays only, from June 10 to 14.
A Cornwall Council spokesperson said: “The County of Cornwall (Wendron Street, Godolphin Road, Helston) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic)
Order 2024 Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in the exercise of its powers under
Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 temporarily prohibits the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road
in Helston.
“This prohibition is necessary for ducting works, and it is expected that the closure will be from 10 June to 14 June.”
