Police are on the scene of a two-car collision on the main road to Falmouth, just hours after an incident on the Helston to Redruth Road.
Police are currently dealing with the collision on the A394 near Helston, which happened shortly before 1pm today (Thursday). One of the vehicles involved ended up in the hedge.
While initial reports suggested an overturned car, the police have confirmed there are now injuries at this time. However, the road is partially blocked, causing delays for drivers.
Traffic monitoring systems indicate slow-moving traffic in both areas while emergency services handle the incident.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “Police were called just before 1pm today following a two-car collision on the A394.”
“One car ended up in a hedge. No injuries reported at this time.”
“The road is partially blocked.”

This comes after an earlier incident this morning on the B3297 near Wendron, where a car overturned shortly before 10am.
The police confirmed that a woman, who was trapped in the vehicle had been safely removed with only minor injuries.
The road was closed for more than an hour for emergency services to clear the scene. The road has now reopened.
