The annual Falmouth School Year 11 Prom took place at the Princess Pavilion, where students, family, and friends gathered to celebrate the culmination of a five-year journey.
Despite the rain, the evening was filled with joy and memorable moments, undampened by the weather.
Families and friends waited at the venue, to greet the elegantly dressed. After an hour of arrivals and photo opportunities, the parents and guardians departed, leaving the students to enjoy the evening with their peers.
The school said the event was a beautiful testament to the friendships and bonds formed over the past five years.
"Students and staff shared laughter, memories, and heartfelt goodbyes, making the night one to remember," it said.
Learning Leader for Year 11 at the Falmouth School, Mrs Miller, remarked, "Seeing the students come together tonight, despite the rain, is a true reflection of their resilience and spirit.
"This evening marks the end of a chapter, but also the beginning of many new adventures. We are incredibly proud of every one of them and wish them the best in their future journeys."
The prom was a fitting end to their school years and the exchange of precious moments that will be cherished for a lifetime. The students will reunite one last time when they collect their GCSE results in August.
