Police are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 50s was seriously injured after a three vehicle collision.
The accident happened on August 6 at 5.10pm on the A390 on Penpillick Hill, Par.
Police were called to a report of a three vehicle collision involving a blue BMW, a grey Volkswagen Golf and a blue Volvo.
The driver of the Volvo, a man in his 50s, suffered serious injuries in the crash and was taken to hospital where he remains.
The road was closed while the police investigated the scene and the police thanked people for their patience.
They appealing for witnesses to the crash to make contact via their website.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called at 5.10pm on 6 August to a report of a three-vehicle collision on the A390 on Penpillick Hill, Par.
"The collision involved a blue BMW, a grey Volkswagen Golf and a blue Volvo.
"As a result of the collision, the driver of the Volvo, a man in his 50s, sustained serious injuries. He was taken to hospital where he remains.
"Officers thank the public for their patience while they investigated the scene.
"Police are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area at the time of the collision to make contact via our website or calling 101 quoting reference number 50240197536."
