The sun may have his hat on in Falmouth, but the display teams who are travelling from all around the country to perform are currently severely affected by thunderstorms and poor visibility.
Posting on Facebook the Falmouth Week Team said that as a result, the Aerosuperbatics WingWalkers Team are unable to take off from their home location due to the poor weather situation there.
"We are working extremely hard to bring the free airshow to you as part of Falmouth Week and the other two display teams are doing their very best to get here.
"We will keep you updated on progress via this page so do follow for up-to-the-minute news and information."
Three aerobatic display teams are due to be performing daring stunts and exhilarating manoeuvres over Falmouth Bay this evening.
The display is supposed begin at 6.15pm with Thomas Cassells in his Slingsby Firefly, followed by Rich Goodwin Airshows piloting the G-EWIZ and finishing with the Aerosuperbatics WingWalkers.
There will be 5-minute gaps between each display.
Road closures on the seafront are currently in place from 3pm and will be lifted when it's safe to do so following the display.
The air display will take place over Falmouth Bay from 6.15pm. Viewing points will include Pendennis Point, Cliff Road and Gyllnygvase beach. The display is free to view.
There will be an exclusion zone on the water during the air display. No boats or marine craft of any kind may enter the display area during the display. This will be enforced by Falmouth Harbour, the RNLI and PoFSA.
The seafront will be closed to traffic from 3pm. Roads affected will be Gyllyngvase Hill, Gyllyngvase Road, Gyllyngvase Terrace, Emslie Road, De Pass Road, Pendennis Road, Pendennis Rise, Castle Drive, Castle Hill and the entire length of Cliff Road. Melvill Road will have no waiting cones on one side.
Falmouth Town train station is closed on Wednesday, August 14. Please use the Falmouth Docks train station as managed queuing systems will be in place.
