Police have now named a woman who died following a collision near Launceston at the weekend.
Geraldine Gibson, 79, from Launceston was pronounced deceased at the scene of the two-vehicle crash which happened at approximately 12.40pm on Sunday, August 11.
The collision happened at the junction of the A30 and Plusha Services.
The driver of the other vehicle sustained non-life-changing injuries and was taken to the hospital.
An investigation was carried out by emergency services, and the Westbound carriageway was closed.
Devon and Cornwall Police are currently investigating the circumstances of the collision and are appealing for witnesses and anyone with relevant information to come forward.
A force spokesperson said: “Anyone with information or dashcam footage that could assist the investigation is urged to contact police via its website, or by calling 101, quoting log 417 of 11/8/24.”
