Three people have been released on bail following an assault in Truro earlier this month.
The incident took place in Townsend Street on Tuesday, August at around 1.40am.
It was reported that a woman heard people outside her address smashing up garden furniture. When she went out to ask them to stop, she was punched and kicked numerous times by three people.
As a result of the attack, the victim suffered a fractured eye socket.
Following the attack, three people were arrested.
A 22-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl from Truro were arrested for causing GBH with intent, while a 37-year-old woman from Truro was arrested on suspicion of GBH. All three have been released on police bail.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious assault in Truro.
