A six-year-old boy was taken to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries following a serious crash in Cornwall.
The police are now appealing for witnesses and information about the incident at the crossroads at Wheatley Road and Highmoor New Week St Mary on Wednesday, August 28 at 5pm.
The collision involved a black VW Tiguan and a red Nissan Qashqai.
A six-year-old boy, who was a passenger in the Qashqai suffered potentially life-threatening injuries and was taken to Bristol Children’s Hospital. The drivers of the other two cars were uninjured.
The police are now asking for anyone with information about the incident to get in touch.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision at a set of crossroads at Wheatley Road and Highmoor near Week St Mary.
“Officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the road was closed for the investigation to take place.
“Officers are appealing for any witnesses that have not already spoken to them, but who may have seen the collision, or have dash camera footage, to contact police via our website, or by calling 101, quoting occurrence 50240217835.”
