Flambards Theme Park is hosting a special Foodbank Weekend to step up its support of those in need during these challenging times.
It will take place on Saturday, October 5, and Sunday, October 6, in collaboration with Helston and The Lizard Foodbank.
Visitors can enjoy the park's attractions for a reduced entry ticket price of £9.95, provided they bring a food donation worth approximately £3.
This initiative aims to combat food poverty in the community, exacerbated by the cost-of-living crisis.
Suggested non-perishable food items include powdered milk, rice pudding, small tins of ham, sponge puddings, instant mashed potato, and custard.
Alternatively, a £3 cash donation to the foodbank can be made on the day.
If no donation is brought, the standard ticket price of £14.95 per person will apply.
Season pass holders can enter for free but are encouraged to make a donation.
Helston and The Lizard Foodbank is part of the Trussell Trust's nationwide network and offers emergency food and support to those in poverty.
The foodbank operates out of Mustard Seed Café in Wendron Street on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and at Mullion Church on Fridays.
Flambards Theme Park invites everyone to enjoy a fun-filled day while making a meaningful contribution to the community.
Your support can help transform lives, ensuring that those in crisis receive the food and support they need.
