A motorcyclist sustained injuries after a collision with a car in Helston on Monday evening.
Emergency services were called to the A394 near the Maytree at around 6:05pm following the incident.
The male motorcyclist suffered a chest injury and was transported to Royal Cornwall Hospital by ambulance.
The road was partially blocked due to the collision, but traffic was able to pass through the area by 9pm.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police stated, "Police were alerted to a collision involving a motorcycle and a car on the A394 at Helston around 6:05pm yesterday, September 9.
"The male motorcyclist sustained a chest injury and was taken to Treliske Hospital."
Following the incident, fellow motorcyclists took to Facebook to share their well wishes with the injured rider.
One post on the Marting Jennings Memorial Run Facebook page expressed: "As a biker myself, I hope the best for him." Another post simply stated, "Hope everyone is safe."
