A main road in Helston was shut off this afternoon (Friday) following an incident involving a car and a child.
Emergency services were called to Trengrouse Way just before 5pm after reports of a child involved in a collision with a car.
The road was closed off while emergency services were on the scene. However, it now appears that the road has reopened.
Police say that there are no reports of any injuries at this time, but enquiries are ongoing.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said at the time: "Emergency services are currently at the scene of a collision Trengrouse Way, Helston following a collision involving a car and a child.
"At this time there are no reported injuries and enquiries are ongoing at the scene."
