A 38‑year‑old man has been arrested after police officers seized a significant haul of Class A and Class B drugs and several weapons during a raid at a flat in Cornwall.

On Tuesday, February 24, Bodmin Neighbourhood Team, supported by officers from the Force Support Group and two dog handlers, searched a ground‑floor flat in Bodmin under a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant.

A large quantity of controlled drugs and multiple weapons were recovered from the property, and the man was arrested at the scene.

Following the search, officers attempted to repair the door they had forced to gain entry -  a moment they acknowledged with a touch of humour.

“After we finished searching, we repaired the door. Sort of,” the team said.
