UPDATE: Monday, April 6, 2026.

Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed that 74-year-old Michael Marsh has now been found.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Michael Marsh, 74, who was reported missing from Liskeard on Sunday 5 April has been found safely.

"Thanks to information reported by the community, officers are now with Michael."

An urgent appeal has been issued to help locate a 74-year-old man who has gone missing from Liskeard.

Michael Marsh was last seen at around 10.30am on Sunday morning (April 5) in the Station Road area, heading towards the town centre.

He is described as a white male, approximately 5ft 4ins tall and of slim build. He has long grey hair and a beard, both of which police say appear unkempt. Michael is known to have links to both the Liskeard and Bude areas of Cornwall.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 74-year-old man from Liskeard.

“If you have seen Michael or know of his whereabouts, please call police on 999 quoting log 509 of 05/04/2026.”

*Police have released a photograph taken in 2008, which they say is the only image available. Officers believe Michael’s hair and beard are now significantly longer, though his glasses and facial features remain similar.
