On Saturday, a strong field of 77 golfers took part in the Richard Brian Cup at Falmouth Golf Club.
The course was in excellent condition, however extremely strong winds made this Strokeplay competition very difficult for all that took part.
The winner of the 21+ handicap category was Stuart Sawyer with a nett 73.
Winning in the 11-20 handicap category was Scott Palmer with a nett 71. Also with a nett 71 was David Bayliss who had the best score in the 0-10 handicap category.
The best gross score of the day was Harry Drewett with an impressive gross 76.
In second place overall was David Blizzard with a nett 70.
The winner of this year's Richard Brian Cup was Daniel Knowles, who despite the formidable conditions was able to score a brilliant nett 68.
