Tregothnan's private gardens are set to open their gates for one weekend only.
The event will take place on April 18 and 19, 2026, offering the public a rare opportunity to explore more than 100 acres of Tregothnan's botanical gardens.
Visitors can expect to see a variety of flora, including centuries-old camellias, towering magnolias, and some of the world's largest rhododendrons.
The gardens, which are usually closed to the public, will be open from 10am to 5pm, with the last entry at 4pm.
The historic Stable Yard will also be transformed into a food court for the weekend, serving lunch, cream teas, and refreshments.
The court will also host live entertainment, adding to the festive atmosphere.
A pop-up shop will offer Tregothnan teas and estate produce, the perfect souvenirs to remember the day.
Children aged 18 and under can enter the event for free, making it an ideal family day out.
Dogs are also welcome, provided they are kept on leads.
The event will also support several charities, which will be present throughout the weekend.
Tickets for the weekend can be booked online and must be shown at the gate for entry.
No physical or email tickets are sent, so visitors are advised to keep their confirmation email safe.
The gardens are largely wheelchair accessible, although some areas may have loose gravel.
For those driving to the event, the postcode TR2 4AX should be entered into satnavs.
Stewards will be on hand to guide visitors and provide assistance.
Free parking is available on site, including a designated area for disabled parking.
Visitors with large vehicles are advised to inform the stewards upon arrival and to drive carefully on the narrow lanes.
Those wishing to change the date of their visit can do so for a small admin fee.
However, tickets are non-refundable, so visitors are advised to book the correct ticket type.
The open garden weekend is not easily accessible by public transport.
