Several roads in Falmouth and Budock Water are set to close for fire hydrant works this month.

Cornwall Council has announced that Bickland Hill, Vicarage Hill, School Hill, and Trewen Road will be shut on May 26, 2026.

The closure is expected to last for one day, between 9.30am and 2.30pm.

The works are scheduled for weekdays only, and an alternative route will be signposted.

The council has taken this action under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
