A Cornwall restaurant has been awarded two AA Rosettes.
The Budock Vean Hotel & Spa, located near Falmouth on the banks of the Helford River, received the accolade in August 2026 in recognition of its food, service, and overall dining experience.
Darryl Reburn, general manager at Budock Vean, said: "We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded Two AA Rosettes.
"This recognition is a testament to the dedication, passion, and consistency of our kitchen brigade, who have worked tirelessly over the past months to achieve this standard of food.

"To receive such positive feedback from the AA inspector is a proud moment for the whole team and a fantastic reward for their hard work and commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests."
The award follows the recent appointment of head chef Dale McIntosh, who is well known on Cornwall’s food scene.
Dale has more than eight years of experience at Gylly Beach Café and was a quarter-finalist on BBC’s MasterChef: The Professionals.
He is now working with the hotel’s kitchen team to further develop Budock Vean’s reputation for relaxed, high-quality dining, using seasonal, locally sourced, and estate-grown ingredients.
Menu highlights include a twice-baked cheese soufflé with soft blue cheese and leek and potato velouté, confit duck with butter bean cassoulet and orange-braised chicory, and steamed Westcountry mussels served with either a spiced tomato, chorizo and shallot sauce or a classic marinière.

The Two AA Rosettes add to the hotel’s existing VisitEngland Breakfast Award and reinforce its reputation as one of Cornwall’s leading destinations for exceptional food, warm hospitality and unforgettable stays.
Budock Vean Hotel & Spa is a four-star, independent retreat set within 65 acres of sub-tropical gardens and welcomes both residents and non-residents throughout the year.
Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner in the restaurant or on the terrace, which overlooks the golf course and gardens.
The hotel is known for its warm hospitality and seasonal menus, which celebrate the best of Cornwall’s produce.
