Cornwall Council has announced that the closure of a road from Perranzabuloe to Bridge House, Callestick, will continue until September 4.
The council extended the prohibition, originally set to last 18 months from March 23, due to engineering difficulties and the road being unsafe.
The closure is in effect 24 hours a day, including weekends.
