The Furry in Helston will close overnight from September 17 to September 21 while safety fence repairs are carried out.

Cornwall Council intends to make a temporary traffic order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The closure will apply along the road’s entire length between 7pm and 6am, including weekends. The council said the restriction is needed for safety reasons.

A signed alternative route will be available on site. Pedestrian and vehicle access to properties will be maintained during the works.

The order covers traffic using the road, while access arrangements remain in place for pedestrians and vehicles accessing properties throughout the closure period, as set out in the council’s published notice.
