Cornwall Council has made an order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The restriction will operate from 7pm until 6am on weekdays.
It is required for principal road maintenance and gully emptying works.
The affected roads are the A3058 between Trendeal Lane and Brighton, the A3058 between St Austell Street and Trendeal Lane, and St Austell Street.
The order also covers Grampound Road from Brighton Cross roundabout to School Road, Summercourt.

An alternative route will be signed on site.
