Traffic ground to a halt on Falmouth's Bickland Water Road this morning after a cyclist was injured in a collision.
Police were still on the scene at 9am dealing with the traffic queues as the cyclist was taken away by ambulance.
It is thought the cyclist suffered injuries to his leg.
PC Mike Fearn from falmouth police said: "There was a collision between a van and a cyclist.
"It happened at the junction to the football club car park."
Paul Tripp was setting up his WC Rowe mobile shop in the car park. He said he "heard a bang."
He said: "His leg got smashed up quite badly."
