A radio show on Falmouth's own station Source FM is to be heard around the world thanks to a six-hour through-the-night supernatural broadcast from a Penryn pub.

The Haunted Cornwall programme broadcast live from the King's Arms in Penryn, carrying out a number of paranormal investigations on air.

Medium Angie Kruger from Penzance, clairvoyant Debbie Grant from Stithians, David Gillham of the Cornwall UFO Society and members of the Supernatural Investigations Team from across Cornwall were all on hand for the broadcast between 11pm and 5am.

Radio presenter John Forster said they had some unexpected results. Angie picked up that Penryn suffered an outbreak of cholera in the 1600s, while Debbie went into a trance to pick up the names Nancy and Grace Luger, who it transpired owned the pub - then an inn - during the time of the Roundheads.

The show has since been picked up by radio stations in America and now Alien Radio in Nevada and Planet Paranormal in Idaho, as well as a station in Morocco, have asked for the regular broadcasts.

Mr Forster said: "We're over the moon."

People can receive free copies of a CD recording of the King's Arms live broadcast if they phone the radio show this Sunday from 8pm and tell their own spooky story. Call 213879.

The show is generally broadcast live on Sundays and repeated on Tuesday evenings at 11pm.
