Students past and present on a teacher training course at Truro College will celebrate ten years of the course on Friday, July 2.
School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) has helped 260 teachers become employed in Cornish Schools and trainees and mentors will be coming together for the course’s tenth anniversary.
Programme manager Alison Smith said: ““I am especially proud of every graduate who has passed the course and gone on to be a positive influence in the lives of students. They have all shown real commitment and dedication and continue to demonstrate a selfless passion to improve the education and life chances of young people.”
