The waiting was over for chicken lovers across Falmouth at the weekend when KFC opened its doors on the Moor.
The 80-seat fast food restaurant was due to open on Saturday but sprung a surprise when it opened early for two hours on Friday.
Crowds packed in to KFC all the way through the weekend and operations director Matthew Huckle described it as "crazy."
"We have had so many people come in and everyone looks happy that we are here," he said.
"We are very excited to have opened in Falmouth and have been made extremely welcome by the local people and organisations in the town. We hope to be part of the Falmouth community for the long term and are very pleased with our new restaurant on The Moor."
