CURY METHODIST CHURCH: Rex Bray of Mullion took the service on Sunday, taking the Parable of the Prodigal Son as his topic. Christopher Trounson collected the offering and Sybil Benney was accompanist. Flowers were provided by Leonora Curnow.
On Sunday the fellowship service will be led by Pene Oates at 11am.
On Sunday, June 27 there will be a cream tea at Brenda's home in Churchtown from 2-5pm in aid of the Church Bells Project. There will be a cake stall and raffle.
VILLAGE HALL: A quiz is being held on July 9 at 7.30pm. Teams of four, £1 per person. Licensed bar and raffle.
The family bingo on June 18 has been cancelled.
