Adult learners have been praised for their achievements at a presentation evening in Truro.

The awards ceremony was at County Hall played host to 89 high flying adult learners. The nominees were put forward by their tutors on 15 adult education learning centres around county.

Cornwall Council chairman Pat Harvey presented certificates and gift vouchers to the students.

Pat said that she was honoured to be asked to present the certificates and said: “It is incredible how much hard work has gone in and what great achievements has been made, which shows the tremendous characters of the learners.”
