Goonhavern have taken maximum points from their first two games in the Mining League division three to go top of the table.

They got a narrow 3-2 victory away at Cornish New Boys and Saturday and then beat Newquay FC away on Tuesday to go two points clear at the top.

Hayle FC are second has they followed up Saturday's 2-2 draw at Wendron by beatin Ludgvan 4-2 at home. S Vidgama and S Webber got the goals in the draw at Wendron.

St Buryan Reserves have also made a good start to the season after they beat Newlyn Non-Athletic Reserves 6-0 away on Tuesday night. They have only played one game so far and sit third in the table.

Fourth are Rosudgeon, who have also played only one match a 3-1 victory over Perranporth on Saturday.

Redruth United are fifth after they lost 4-2 at home to Newlyn Non-Athletico Reserves, but followed it up by beating Wendron United 4-1 at home.

Newquay FC are sixth after they won 2-0 at home to Trevenson United Reserves thanks to goals from Ben Currah and Conor Hogg.
