Family and friends of popular Falmouth man Sam Thornton will gather at Truro’s Penmount Crematorium this Tuesday for his funeral.
The 20-year-old died at the weekend after a “rave” in Penryn.
The funeral service will start at 11am before a wake at Falmouth Rugby Club.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Children’s Hospice South West.
Sam’s brother James said: “Sam loved children, especially his nephew and cousins, and any money to a hospice in Cornwall is what he would have wanted.”
He added that there would be no specific dress code for the funeral.
“Sam would have wanted bright and colourful but people can wear whatever they feel comfortable in, whether it is a suit or a hoody and jeans.”
