A teenage girl was killed in an accident on the Penryn Bypass late on Sunday evening. The girl, who lived in Penryn, was a passenger in a dark blue Honda Civic which is believed to have been driven around the Falmouth and Penryn areas prior to the collision.
The driver of the car was seriously injured. Another passenger was thought not to have been seriously hurt.
The collision happened between Hillhead and Asda roundabouts and the road was closed until late Monday morning.
Police are anxious to trace any witnesses who may have witnessed the collision or the events leading up to it.
