Helston's new 'Furry Youth Cafe' looks set to open its doors this summer.
Located above Warrens bakery at 6 Meneage Street, it is hoped the new facility will benefit hundreds of young people in Helston and the Lizard.
Extensive building works are now well underway, including painting & decorating, installation of a new kitchen, carpets & flooring, garden clearance and in early July, all the furniture and equipment will be purchased.
A job advert for a part time café co-ordinator will be circulated shortly and is funded by the Big Lottery 'People's Millions' fund.
