Bickland Water Road is closed as the van fire is extinguished
FALMOUTH firefighters closed off a section of Bickland Water Road yesterday because of a van fire at the junction of Trescobeas Road.
The green Volkswagen camper van was seen stopped in the middle of the roundabout with smoke coming out from the back of it.
Fire crews closed a small section of the road but still allowed traffic coming form the Hillhead roundabout direction to turn left onto Trescobeas Road while they put out the fire.
It is not yet known what caused the fire.
