A new mosaic, created thanks to pupils from Penryn College, has brought a splash of colour to Jubilee Wharf.
Year seven pupils teamed up with RobotMother Ltd, the owners of the wharf, to create the design as part of their art project.
The students studied Islamic art and produced beautiful tiles, receiving extra support from Jane Smith of the Glass & Jewellery Workshop at Jubilee Wharf.
Jane, who used to teach at Cornwall College, was able to guide staff and students through the process.
“This has been a really pleasing and successful community project,” says Andrew Marston of RobotMother.
“We have a stunning wall and the students have a long-lasting impact on the look of Jubilee Wharf and Penryn.”
