THE Boathouse in Beacon Street in Falmouth has been recognised by leading review site for its excellence. The 300 year old inn that overlooks Falmouth harbour, has been awarded with a Certificate of Excellence by Tripadvisor.
Co-owner, Nick Goodall, commented: “We’re delighted to be recognised by the team at Tripadvisor. We’ve built our business on the back of trying to deliver a really great experience for people, so when you get this recognition, that is recognition based on customer feedback, it’s very rewarding."
Now in its fifth year, the prestigious certificate of excellence award highlights establishments that consistently earn great Tripadvisor reviews from travellers.
The news comes on the back of the news that the pub has, for the second year running, been included in The Good Beer Guide - the UK's leading guide as to the best places to drink real ale. The Boathouse is one of less than 60 pubs in Cornwall, from a total of over 600, that has been included in the guide, testimony to the selection and standard of real ale on offer.
