Patrick Polglase joins Millerson

An experienced chartered surveyor with 30 years’ experience working in property and business has joined Millerson’s Commercial Agency department. The appointment follows a significant increase in business for the family-run estate agency which has twelve offices and more than 80 staff working in key areas throughout Cornwall.

Patrick Polglase, from Mylor, began his career in Truro before moving to both London and Sydney to practice his profession and then returning to Cornwall with his family 16 years ago. As a registered valuer for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), his new job with Millerson will include formal valuations for mortgage, tax and probate purposes.

“I’m very excited to be working with such a highly respected and established firm,” said Patrick. “Millerson’s impressive portfolio of commercial clients is growing all the time and I’m delighted to be able to contribute my expertise to the high quality, user friendly advice the team can always be relied on to provide.”

Three generations of Millers have been involved in the company since it was first established in Cornwall more than 25 years ago. With a long-standing track record for success in all aspects of the local property market, Patrick’s new role is seen as an important expansion of the agency’s commercial department.

“We’re very pleased to welcome such an enthusiastic and capable member of staff,” said Millerson Chairman, Geofrey Miller. “Patrick has quickly made his mark and is already proving to be a very valuable member of the team - helping us to support our current clients and to drive our business forward.”
