Truro's mayor, John Tamblyn, officially opened outdoor travel and clothing specialist, Rohan's new store in the city.
The Rohan store on River Street marks the brand’s return to Truro following the closure of Penrose Outdoor, with which Rohan enjoyed a 25+ year partnership in the city.
Mr Tamblyn said: “It’s nice to have a prestigious clothing shop like Rohan in Truro. It can only enhance the city and bring much-welcomed trade. I was made to feel very welcome and wish all staff the best after a successful opening.”
Scott Longstaff, managing director at Rohan, said: “We are thrilled to open a brand new store in Truro and to be able to re-establish our relationship with the town.”
Store manager. Kerry Daniels, added: “We’re looking forward to providing the local community with our team’s expertise here in Truro. We’re currently a team of eight members of staff and the store will continue to follow the high standard of service set by Rohan when offering great quality products.”
