A man has been charged with attempting to rob two stores in the Camborne area within the space of a few hours.
Dean Bartle, aged 30, from Camborne, faces allegations of two attempted armed robberies, theft, possession of an imitation firearm and possession of a bladed article.
He has been remanded in custody and is now due to appear before Truro Crown Court on Tuesday, December 19.
The charges are in connection with alleged incidents at Adelaide Stores in Tolvaddon during the morning of Sunday, November 12 and at Mr W's Eats & Treats in Pendarves Street, Tuckingmill a few hours later.
