A former X Factor contestant will be taking to the stage of the Regal Theatre in Redruth next week to play Prince Charming in RAMPS' panto, Cinderella.

The panto run opens on January 10 and will see Sam Shepherd performing alongside many well known local faces who are taking on the lead roles.

Sam has performed his one man show in venues all across the UK and has also appeared on radio and television, but is glad to have a winter free from travelling so he can play the Prince in one of Cornwall's biggest and most popular pantomimes.

Sam is joined by Bethany Lyne in the title role of Cinderella, and Damon Taylor and Rob Mitchell who play her dreadful Step Sisters. Rob won a CDA Award for his Ugly Sister in the Helston production of Cinderella last year, and they are joined by Regal favourites Gareth Harris as Buttons and Andy Christophers as Baron Hardup – a very experienced and talented cast.

Presented by RAMPS Cinderella promises to bring you a wonderful mix of comedy, song and dance - a new year treat for all the family. Tickets are available from the Regal Theatre in Redruth; by calling 01209 216278, or online at merlincinemas.co.uk/regal-theatre.
