RESIDENTS are being invited to have their say on a proposed retail development on land off the A30 west of Camborne

If approved, the proposal would create 160-170 permanent job opportunities and bring new major brands to Camborne – including Lidl, Home Bargains, Starbucks and Subway who have already committed to the scheme.

Initial plans will be unveiled at a public consultation exhibition later this month. Members of the project team will be on hand to answer questions and listen to residents’ views before a planning application is submitted to Cornwall Council later this year.

The event will be held on Wednesday, January 17 and Thursday, January 18, 2018 (between 4pm and 8pm) at Camborne RFC Clubhouse, Cranberry Road, Camborne TR14 7PW, and all are welcome to attend.

Quora, one of the country’s leading mixed use development companies, is inviting local residents to have their say on plans for the development.

Introducing the plans, Nic Morgan, director, of development company Quora said: “Our proposal represents a significant investment for Camborne and the local economy. We are very keen to get cracking but first we want to make sure the plans best meet local needs. I would like as many residents as possible to come to our exhibition and tell us what they think – your views will help us deliver the best possible development for Camborne.”
