Kerrier Male Choir
On Sunday, July 12, Kerrier Male Choir, MD Janette Eathorne, and accompanist Elizabeth Tremayne took part in the annual civic service held at St Michael's Church, Helston.
The Helston-based choir were invited by the Worshipful Mayor of Helston, Councillor Nicola Boase, to sing at her civic service and also to join in the parade of dignitaries.
The choir were honoured to have been invited to this prestigious event, and to a full church, sang Jesus Shall Reign, words by Isaac Watts, music by Cornish composer Goff Richards.
The choir practices every Monday evening at The Cober Valley Healthcentre, Helston at 7pm.
All gentlemen are invited to come and meet the choir members and see if they would like to join.
No voice test, and all music and uniforms are supplied.
This is a very happy and sociable choir, enjoying singing and friendship across the ages.
