THE Met Office has removed much of the south west including Cornwall from its severe weather warning for snow for today.
However the yellow warning is till in place for tomorrow with heavy snow showers expected on Wednesday.
There is the potential for travel delays on roads, with some stranded vehicles and passengers, as well as delays or cancellations to rail and air travel. Some rural communities could become cut off. Power cuts may also occur and other services, such as mobile phones, may be affected.
Today it says the south west of England is now much less likely to be affected by the snow which is hitting the rest of the country.
Temperatures hit -7 last night with freezing conditions being brought in by the so called Beast of the East', a weather front which is drawing in icy winds from Siberia.
