Eighty-two players teed up for the final board competition of the season last Saturday at Falmouth Golf Club.
Conditions once again were tricky in the Bearne Cup a medal competition, which delivered a total of 24 non-returns on the day.
In third place with a net 68 winning on countback was current vice captain Pete Chambers with three pars and a birdie on the sixth.
In second place with a net 67 was Stephen Thomas with eight pars and a birdie on the tenth.
In first place and this year’s winner of the Bearne Cup with a net score of 66, including 11 pars and birdies on the first and 12th holes, was Chris North.
Best gross score of the day went to Michael Clark with a 72.
