It was the Bearne Cup on Saturday at Falmouth Golf Club, with 94 willing golfers taking part in this strokeplay competition.
The weather on Saturday was beautiful and was in many ways perfect for golf, with very little wind and slightly cooler temperatures.
The winner of the 21+ handicap category was Paul Jose with a nett 71.
Winning the 11-20 handicap category was Bob Pine with an impressive score of nett 67.
Will Sercombe won the 0-10 handicap category with a nett 68.
In second place overall was Paul Martin, who shot a formidable nett 67.
However, beating this score by one was Callum Davis, who took home the Bearne Cup with a superb score of nett 66.
Callum also carded the best gross score of the day, with a brilliant gross 69.
Knowing how difficult the course is currently playing due to the dry weather, everyone in the men's section was full of plaudits for Callum and his brilliant round of golf.
Callum's golf continues to improve week on week, and he was over the moon to pick up his first silverware in two years.
