Falmouth Town completed a turbulent season both on and off the pitch with defeat away at Bovey Tracey on Saturday.
Town were in spells the better side, taking the lead as early as the ninth minute when Glenn Squires curled a superb effort into the top corner.
But Bovey equalised on the stroke of half time when goalkeeper Ethan Fearn misjudged a deep corner and the ball found the back of the net.
Bovey scored two in quick succesion just after the break to put them into a 3-1 lead, before Rob Wearne handed the visitors a lifeline minutes from time when he headed in Town's second.
But despite playing some good football Town were unable to grab the equaliser. Les Gilbert and Robbie Stephens' side finish the season in 16th place. Expect a busy summer at Bickland Park.
